The breeds of Belgian Bantams standardised in Britain are: Barbu d’Anvers, Barbu de Grubbe (Rumpless d’Anvers), Barbu d’Uccle, Barbu d’Everburg (Rumpless d’Uccle), Barbu de Watermael and Barbu de Boitsfort (Rumpless de Watermael). Each breed has its own unique characteristics but all are united in the requirement for a well-developed beard. Each of the six breeds has many colour variations, some of them intricate and all attractive. Not all colours are standardised in Britain.
