Press Release: 2018 Election Results

The Poultry Club of Great Britain is pleased to announce that Paul Kerfoot from Preston has been elected the new President of the Club taking over from Jim Young.  Jim has held the role of President for 3 years and has been a true ambassador for the club and integral to many of the changes during that time.

The election for Trustees has also concluded and the Club is pleased to welcome three new trustees and the return of two existing trustees to the board. Joining the board for the first time is Roger Thomas from Cornwall and Ewan Jones from Derbyshire.  Roger brings experience to the team in the financial sector and Ewan brings a wealth of experience from working in the charity sector. Returning trustees Bill Oldcorn and Martin Anderson have secured 4 year terms on the board and re-joining the board after a spell away is Toddy Hamilton-Gould who has secured a one year term. Toddy is from Oxfordshire and has helped this summer with the promotion of the Poultry Club to a wider audience at events such as Gardeners World Live.
