The Wernlas Collection is an internationally acclaimed conservation centre specialising in the breeding of rare and traditional poultry. Well over 12,000 chicks are hatched each season. With over 220 breeds of chicken now extinct, our collection is a vital gene pool. Based in Ludlow, Shropshire, England, we are open to the public all year round.
