How to join or support us!
The Poultry Club of Great Britain welcomes the
support and membership of anyone with an interest in poultry or eggs, whatever the nature
of your involvement whether it is remembering keeping poultry as a youngster, admiring the
hens and ducks at the pond in your local park, enjoying watching cartoon characters like
'Daffy Duck' or 'Foghorn Leghorn' on TV, a desire to produce your own eggs for the table,
or a more serious interest.
You will find below the various membership rates for individuals, families,
organisations, and details of how you can advertise in our various publications, create a
Web link with your own Web site, and we always welcome sponsorship to help us in our
conservation efforts. To enquire by email, simply click on the pictures or heading of the
relevant section. To apply by surface mail, send enquiries to our Secretary -The Poultry Club, Keeper's Cottage, 40 Benvarden Road. Dervock, Ballymoney, Co Antrim BT53 6NN, Northern Ireland, (please mark your letter with the words

Ordinary Membership
Ordinary membership of the Poultry Club is £18.00 per annum or £15.00 if
you pay by Standing Order. Members not wishing to set up a standing order may claim the
£15.00 rate by paying three years subscriptions in advance.
Ordinary members receive quarterly Newsletters, the Poultry Club Yearbook, and can claim a
reduced rate if exhibiting at the National Championship Show, as well as being entitled to
compete for Poultry Club awards.
Ordinary members can apply to take judging examinations and can seek advice on
poultry-related matters from the club. |

Family Membership
Family Membership is £23.00 per annum, or £20.00 by standing order. You
may claim the reduced rate by paying three years subscriptions in advance.
Family members receive quarterly Newsletters, the Poultry Club Yearbook, and can claim a
reduced rate if exhibiting at the National Championship Show, as well as being entitled to
compete for Poultry Club awards.
Ordinary members can apply to take judging examinations and can seek advice on
poultry-related matters from the club. |

Juvenile Membership (under age 16)
Membership of the Poultry Club for juveniles at age 16 and under is £10.00
per annum
Junior members receive quarterlyr Newsletters, the Poultry Club Yearbook, and can claim a
reduced rate if exhibiting at the National Championship Show, as well as being entitled to
compete for Poultry Club awards and juvenile special awards.
Junior members can apply to take the Junior Proficiency Exam, Certificates of competence
for single poultry breeds, and can compete for the award of 'Junior Fancier of the Year',
totally free of charge. |

Senior Citizen or Disadvantaged Membership
Membership for Senior Citizens and disadvantaged people (in receipt of
state benefit) is £10.00 per annum.
You will receive quarterly Newsletters, the Poultry Club Yearbook, and can claim a reduced
rate if exhibiting at the National Championship Show, as well as being entitled to compete
for Poultry Club awards.
You can apply to take judging examinations and can seek advice on poultry-related matters
from the club. |

Affiliated Societies, Shows, and Breed Clubs
Membership of the Poultry Club for Affiliated Societies or Organisations,
Schools, Shows, or Breed Clubs, is variable depending on the size and nature of the body -
please apply to the Secretary by email or post for exact charge.
Organisations will receive all the benefits associated with ordinary membership, along
with guidance, support, and advice in poultry related matters.

Advertising, Web links, and Sponsorship
The Poultry Club has a wide, global distribution of its publications.
Advertising space is available for both members an non-members at reasonable rates.
If you have an existing Web site which you feel will be of interest to our members, you
can apply to link your site with ours subject to a small annual charge.
The Poultry Club welcomes sponsorship to help fund its activities, initiatives, and
conservation efforts. |
