The Silkie Club The Silkie Club
The Silkie Club of Great Britain was founded in 1898, and has a current membership of over 300 members, including subscribers from Holland, Denmark, Norway and Australia. All members receive annually a Year Book and two Newsletters, and have ongoing access to help, advice and information sheets, if required. The Spring Newsletter is accompanied each year by the revised members and Silkie breeder’s lists, with new members receiving a pack containing all the current literature and information, including a copy of the official Silkie standards.
Fancy Fowl Fancy Fowl
Fancy Fowl is Great Britain's leading publication to encourage the continued preservation of traditional pure bred poultry and waterfowl. Now into its 25th volume, Fancy Fowl is a top class publication and each monthly issue has at least 40 glossy pages packed full of news, photographs, profiles, breed reviews, and club news. It has a strong 'international' flavour - as well as regular Australian and USA based articles, in recent issues there have been features on poultry in Japan, Holland, Germany, and even the Yemen Arab Republic!
